Travel: The automotive manufacturing industry has become increasingly global and manufacturing centers have migrated to all regions of the country but primarily in the Mid-South and South East. To remain competitive in this industry, Spectrum employees must be willing to travel. Controls Design/PLC Debug – Senior Level: Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, statistics, or mathematics. The education requirement may be waived if a candidate has a minimum of ten years of controls industry experience. Candidates must also have a minimum of five years of debug/startup field experience and possess comprehensive knowledge of at least two major industry-standard HW/SW controls platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi or Rockwell. Candidates must also be capable of performing in all aspects of the design, debug/start-up and planning processes. Robot Programmer – Senior Level: Candidates must possess a minimum of trade school certification in robot programming or an Associate’s degree in electrical, computer, manufacturing, or other industry-related discipline. Candidates for this position must also have a minimum of five years robot programming experience.
